Your screen stays on too long. Your phone is hacked. Your phone or battery needs to be replaced. 1. Your screen brightness is too high. When it comes to a fast-draining battery, your screen brightness may be to blame. After all, as your screen brightness increases, so does the amount of energy required to keep it on. So far, this simple reboot which only take a few seconds to perform has fixed the Fenix 3 battery drain issues on the rare occasion that it has become a problem. I’ve also had one or two occasions where the watch has failed to pick up my Garmin ANT+ HRM. Once again a simple reboot has fixed it. The latest software beta that goes under number 12.20 fixes one of the main causees of the Garmin Forerunner 955 battery drain problem. Firmware update 21.00 for Garmin Fenix 6 brought a bunch
I usually charge the watch every saturday and there is around 20-25% battery left. I've upgraded to 8.37 last week and I noticed that the battery was draining really fast : I was at 15% friday morning so I charged the watch to 25% before going out for my running session (and restarted it). At then end of day it was at about 15% and this morning
Fenix 5X+ Sudden Battery Drain. 2078772 over 2 years ago. A fully charges Fenix 5X+ watch, left unconnected on a table, completely drained overnight. It was not being worn. This random and sudden battery drain has been reported for years. on many different devices. Is GARMIN ever going to fix it?
Get an Apple Watch. Then 30% drain per day is a major improvement! felix over 2 years ago +1 suggested. I've had the same issue of increased battery drain after updating my Fenix 6X Sapphire in the past and now with my Fenix 7X Sapphire Solar after updating to 8.18. Here's what worked for me:
Just within the last week my battery has been draining extremely fast on my Fenix 5. It is dropping 30% per day, without any GPS use. What can I do to fix this problem? I have only had this watch for 5 months. The software version is 14.2 This morning when I woke up my Fenix 6 Pro was at 84% at 7:30 AM - I cycled into town to get some groceries and used about 1 hour of GPS. Suddenly at 10:45AM the battery is at 66% and draining rapidly. I always have Bluetooth off (I hate notifications), and I don't use an apps, CIQ or 3rd party watch faces. I've not used any music. My girlfriend's Fenix 6S automatically updated to version 25 a couple of days ago. Since the update, the battery drains extremely fast and the watch is very slow (almost unresponsive) when trying to get into activities, starting activities, going into settings, etc. We tried to reset the watch multiple times, but the problem persists. Ideally starting at the same charge each time and that should help you get an idea of what's going on. Also there is a battery app on the connect store that many in here use. You can also check the Garmin website for the battery estimates with each type of gps, that should help you gauge if there is "excessive" drain, if you're just use the
Shane Carney over 2 years ago. After updating my Fenix 6X to version 19.20, my battery is draining extremely fast. I took my watch off the charger at 0600 this morning with 100% and by 1400 it was already down to 70% charge. Before the update I would maybe be at 97%. I haven’t even used the device to track any activity, listen to music, and
First, turn off the watch. Then press and hold the BACK/LAP button. Power the watch back on while still holding BACK/LAP. Release the button when a screen appears with the message “Clear user data?”. Select “Yes.”. The watch should power back up and bring you to a setup wizard screen.
Massive battery drain out of no where (Tactix Delta) Battery went down from 25% to 5% in less than 2-3 hours, after i charged back to100%, the battery is now down to 95% in less than 2 hours. I restarted the watch, and looking to see what might have caused it. I started the "indoor row" app earlier today, wonder if it is a bug in the app.

Solar Charging. 21sthebest over 1 year ago. So I’m seeing plenty of Solar intensity on the widget but the battery percentage is not increasing. Any suggestions? Thanks so much. A dedicated community for Garmin users to ask questions, provide answers, and share feedback.

\n garmin fenix 3 battery draining fast
My 2.5 year old Vivoactive 3 is usually great with battery life, lasting several days even with activities being recorded. Usual battery life is around 10% drain per day without activities. Several times in the last year or so I've experienced a sudden battery drain which has always been fixed by restoring factory settings.
My numbers below are for the Fenix 6 Sapphire. No music, BT connection on, no weather data fields (these drain a lot of battery), but with HR and analog seconds hands (which people often worry excessively drain more battery): Watch face mode. Ie outside of activities. The stock faces are pretty energy efficient I’ve found. 0.2-0.3% per hour.
3811409 over 3 years ago. Finally I think I have resolved the issue of abnormal battery drain that I faced for my Fenix 6 pro. I first tried rebooting and hard reset but it didn't work. Then I deleted garmindevice.xml and restarted watch and it didn't help. Then I downgraded the firmware to 10.10 and upgraded it again through Garmin explorer on

However I received another replacement 945 and the battery drains like no other. The watch goes from %100 to %60 just overnight. Since I wasn’t using the first 945 that I sent back to Garmin I don’t remember this level of drainage being normal and I don’t know how the latest update has affected the watch.
