Your upholstry code N6SW reveals that the grade of leather "N6" is Montana & the color of your leather "SW" is schwarz (aka "black"). Unplug ANY ONE sensor. Clear fault codes. Start the engine, and drive until a fault is flagged. The fault code will tell you WHICH sensor the unplugged cable should connect to. If the fault is on Bank2 Pre-Cat, then plug that wire to the Bank2 (BACK 3 cylinders) pre-cat sensor. Repeat for the other three wires.
In the US, Imola is probably the most rare e46 color. That, or that puke-yellow/green one. There's somebody in my town with a Dakar yellow 330, but that's not a factory color for e46. I'm trying to find a BMW Business CD for my 2001 M Roadster E36 square faceplate that plays MP3. I know the big change came I Sept o4 but don't know which BMW radio will fit in my hole. The E46 face is too rounded and larger. I don't want to go aftermarket in less I have to and would rather not put a connector in the trunk for a thumbdrive. i can't seem to find my paint code anywhere on my e46. I did a search, look under the hood, door jambs. Can anyone with a e46 tell me exactly where i can find my car's paint code? How I "hopefully" fixed my P1446 (DMTL) pump circuit high. I bought this car from the KC Copart auction in early March and had to do a bunch of work to the engine to fix the lean codes and misfires that are associated with them. This car had been neglected and had rotted vaccum lines and leaks everywhere!!

Lift the rear seat bench cushion. Stapled to its underside you should find a factory build sheet with the car's option codes, including abbreviated explanations. I believe the explanations are in German but if they are not, I might not remember that. This is an older thread, you may not receive a response, and could be reviving an old thread.
